The Mount Batten Ferry Service operates from Mount Batten to the historic Barbican 363 days a year.

The ferry departs Mount Batten on the hour and half hour, Barbican at quarter past and quarter to the hour. Operating every 30 minutes.

Summer timetable starts 1st April Monday-Friday 8am-10pm, Saturday-Sunday 9am-10pm. Winter timetable starts 2nd October Monday-Friday 8am-6.15pm, Saturday-Sunday 9am-6.15pm.

Every August Plymouth hosts the British Firework Championships. The spectacular display is launched from Mount Batten Pier.

Each May Plymouth hosts the annual Flavour Fest, the south west’s largest food and drink festival.

Each September the Barbican hosts The Seafest celebrating the incredible fish and seafood we offer locally.

Plymouth Gin Distillery is the oldest working distillery in England. Located on the Barbican offering distillery tours and gin tasting.

The distillery has a cosy cocktail bar The Refectory Bar, the perfect spot to start your night out.
